Career Interest: Ms Desmond has a special interest in the interaction between parent & child & increasing access to quality health care delivered in Primary Care settings.

She is currently undertaking a research study regarding access to health care in relation to fluency in English. She is also on the Faculty at Simmons College school of Nursing.
